Government of Ireland- International Education Scholarship (GOI-IES)’ is awarded to international students of high calibre to pursue a full-time degree course in any of the partnering Higher Education Institution. It sanctions 10,000 Euros for a single year of academic program; bachelor’s, master’s or research along with the complete fee waiver for that year. If you’re applying in an Irish University, you must be a non-EU national enrolled for a fulltime degree course. Both Bachelor’s as well as a Master’s degree are eligible for scholarships. International Merit Scholarships are offered under two categories-
- Undergraduate International Merit Scholarships
- Postgraduate International Merit Scholarships
These scholarships are country-specific, and can be applied after getting the confirmation and acceptance of the offer letter by the concerned university. The following 2 scholarships are mainly for the Indian students.
- Max Arthur Macauliffe Special Merit Scholarship
- Sir Peter Freyer Special Merit Scholarship
The eligibility criteria of both Academic Scholarships and Merit Scholarships are different. Quercus Taught Master Academic Scholarships is an academic scholarship offered by University College Cork (UCC), Ireland. It waives off 50% of tuition fees for the full-time and part-time master’s degree courses.
