Pre-Visa Application Process

Entry Requirements
  • A minimum academic score that meets eligibility criteria for the desired course, authentic and certified documents and of course, the student visa, all of it is required for entry to the educational institution.
  • For admission to master’s programme, below requirements must be met with.
  • Academic Score: To engage in Master’s in Management or two-year Master of Science course, an international student should have completed three years or 4 years of bachelor’s programme.
  • English Proficiency Test: It is mandatory to have IELTS or TOEFL for admission at French Intuitions.
  • Any English test score is not mandatory for Bachelor’s degree programme at SKEMA Business School.

Documents Checklist

French Student Visa- Application Process

To apply for a France student visa, you must be 18 years or above. A student must have enrolled in a course and accepted by the higher education institution to be eligible for the visa. Depending upon the tenure of your course, you might apply for a short-stay visa valid for 3 months and a long-stay visa for a course spanning more than 6 months.

With a short-stay visa, students may pursue internships, training programmes, conferences and corporate meetings. If you’re travelling to France on a long-stay visa, you will be able to pursue a degree course. Since this visa is valid for a year, students are required to apply for the residence permit. The documents to be submitted are-
  • A passport that is valid for at least 3 months longer than the date of your departure back to country land.
  • ID and the passport-size photographs
  • Letter of confirmation from the education institution
  • Proof of health insurance
  • Evidence of the scholarship sanctioned if any and
  • Proof that there is enough finance to support the higher education
  • No objection certificate from campus
The amount payable for the application of visa is 50 Euros for some countries. The amount varies according to the nationality of the student. Remember, the long-stay visa application along with the documents must be submitted before a month of your leaving to France. Also, a student is not allowed to apply for more than 3 months in advance to the departure.
